Beyonce Offers a song for the President

MusicBeyonce Knowles reveals how she spent an election night that moved her to tears. She supposed to be in Japan promoting her new album "I Am Sasha Fierce." But the diva opted to watch history unfold at home with family.

The singer was overjoyed after Obama's win over Republican John McCain on Tuesday. In fact, she was so inspired, she wore a blue suit and tie in honor of Obama _ with stiletto heels that were red, white and blue.

Beyonce offers president Obama that if the president needs an A-lister to entertain on Inauguration Day, she’s available! "I'm there. I can't wait. I feel like all of us, we're ready to do whatever we have to do. Whatever they want -- if they need me to volunteer, they need me to sing, I'm there, and I'm ready."

Bon Jovi Hates Pallin

Music OnlineThe New Jersey rocker put out a statement saying he didn't want Palin using his track. The song, he said, is for the Jerz alone.

"We wrote this song as a thank you to those who have supported us over the past 25 years," he said in the statement, as reported by BBC News. "The song has since become a banner for our home state of New Jersey and the de facto theme song for our partnerships around the country to build homes and rebuild communities.

"Although we were not asked, we do not approve of their use of 'Home'."

While Bon Jovi may have overstated things a little (really, Jon, a banner for New Jersey?), he makes his point. It's a shame for Palin, too, because lots of Bon Jovi's songs could have been useful in getting her message out.

On capturing Osama bin Laden: "Wanted Dead or Alive;" on Tina Fey's brutal impersonations: "She Don't Know Me;" on her appeals to hockey moms everywhere: "I'll Be There For You."

Alas, there will be other rallies and other songs. But you can't blame her for trying -- with Springsteen siding for the other team, I'd go after Bon Jovi, too.

Disturbia

Disturbia is an up-tempo dance fueled by an opening riff reminiscent of Eifflel 65. It is not that special but it is still pleasing to listen. Rihanna obviously glides back to top in the pop single chart. Considered to be a dominant pop figure to date, sometimes her music is lifeless but she makes great radio music and she does not deserve some of the comments she receives. Back to the top ten, Rihannaa definitely rules.

Disturbia both has pros and cons. Positively stated, it instantly make someone smash on the dance floor, like one is naturally called to a hot dance. The music is exciting and mildly creepy with its lyrics. One sound of it, you will know that it is an immediate hit. Just one con, it is a throwaway fluff.

The top single is written by Robert Allen, Chris brown, Andre Merrit and Brian Seals, names you would like to hire to write you one too. It is produced by Brian Kennedy.

Heard from the grapevine, Disturbia was reportedly reserved to boyfriend Chris Brown, although they thought it would be better if it was for a female voice. Now it ended up as a single album under Good Girl Gone Bad.

One reason for Rihanna's success not often singled out is that her vocals become progressively more sure and confident with each release. "Disturbia" gives a sound of authority of an established star. It can also be concluded as the breakthrough of talented producer Brian Kennedy into the pop big pool.

The lyrics for the music sounds of a bit of urban creepiness. However, Rihanna is not a stranger to lyrical dread. Her single "Unfaithful" sounds like her fears of being a murderer.

Dance programmers will be glad with another surefire dance floor ringer. Aside from her pop success, she was ranked to be on the the top of the dance charts 6 times. It ill not surprise the audience if Disturbia will top the dance floor as well.
